A baby naming ceremony offers a beautiful alternative, giving you a chance to openly welcome your child surrounded by family and friends. Naming Ceremonies can be performed for babies and older children alike.

Most naming ceremonies include the appointment of god parents or mentors, who promise to take a special interest in the child as they growing up. Parents and godparents become more aware of the responsibilities in bringing up a child and recognize the important role that they will play in this child’s life.

Naming ceremonies can incorporate the reasons the parents have chosen a particular name and it’s meaning. There are many beautiful poems and readings suitable for naming ceremonies. You may also wish to include a candle lighting ceremony, reading or some other symbolic gesture. If you have older children, you may like to acknowledge the importance of siblings or if they are old enough, they may like to read a poem as part of the ceremony.

     My fees are $350 for a Naming Ceremony

 ($380 for twins/2 children), all inclusive, with a $200 deposit to secure your booking

• I will design you child's own unique ceremony. Your own ideas and inclusions very welcome

              RENEWAL OF VOWS

 

Congratulations!   You have chosen to renew your Wedding Vows!

 

Many married couples wish to openly re-affirm their love for each other and the commitment they continue with pride to share together. This is done by having a less formal version of their original marriage vows. I can help you to create truly beautiful ceremonies which are unique and personal in every way. You can include your experiences together which will make it yours exclusively. There are no boundaries with couples ages or the years of marriage. Your ceremony can be structured to be traditional, romantic, casual, informal or relaxed. You can even include a renewal of vow ceremony as part of another special event such as a significant wedding anniversary or birthday. You may want to surprise your family and friends. You can include special elements, favourite songs and poetry of your choice. A Vow Renewal ceremony will give you an excellent opportunity to involve your children, even grandchildren, of any age whether it be by way of lighting of candles, standing as "witnesses", or reading a beautiful poem or reading. Many people write their own vows or poems emphasizing the reasons that they have chosen to renew their wedding vows to the person they married. A beautiful keepsake Certificate will be signed and presented to the couple.

 

My fees are $500 for a renewal of vows, all inclusive with $250 deposit to secure your booking.

• Travel costs all included within the Newcastle/Hunter Valley/Lake Macquarie & Port Stephens   ****except for Broke, Wollombi & Hawks Nest - $50 extra 

 

 

       COMMITTMENT CEREMONY

 

A Commitment Ceremony  is designed for couples who wish to publicly declare their love for one another before family and friends. It is to confirm your love and commitment for each other and also signifies your future life you are creating together.

 

These ceremonies are perfect for couples, who through religious or legal complications cannot proceed with the usual form of marriage. Also for same sex partners wishing to affirm their commitment as life partners. Commitment ceremonies do not have the formalities of a legal marriage.

The ceremony can be similar to a wedding ceremony but is not legally binding. Your ceremonies can be formal, casual, romantic, intimate or anything that you choose. You can have any of natures beautiful backdrops for your ceremony.

 

As with a wedding ceremony it can involve the exchange of vows and rings, music and poetry. It can include children of the couple or other family members. It is a unique and special time for couples before their family and friends.

 

My fees are $700 for a simple commitment ceremony just the 2 of  you with witnesses, all inclusive with $250 deposit to secure your booking.
